Booking A Court Using Your Computer

1. Go to https://funkybounce.playbypoint.com/home

2. Sign in (if you are not already signed in)

3. Click on the “BOOK NOW” button

4. You should now be able to choose a day within the next 7 days (NOTE: Saturdays and Sundays show up but the gym is closed on those days so there won’t be any bookable times available on the weekends to choose from)

5. Click on the day that you want to book a court

6. Click on the time you want to play at

7. Click on the court number that you want to reserve

8. Click Next

9. Now you will add who will be playing with you:

   1. Click on the + ADD PLAYERS button

   2. Search for the player’s name NOTE: When you search for a name you are searching the entire Playbypoint database. Therefore you could discover a person who has a Playbypoint account but does NOT have a Funky Bounce membership (for example there could be more than one John Smith).  If the player does not have a Funky Bounce account then the system will charge the guest fee to YOUR credit card. Don’t panic though because if you picked the wrong “John Smith”  the system generates a financial summary and will show you that you will be charged for that player. If this is the case you can redo and pick the other “John Smith”. Just make sure that you check that you are not being charged before you click on the Book button.

   3. NOTE: You must add 4 players when you reserve a court. You can make changes at any time prior to your reservation but the system will not let you complete the court reservation process with having less than 4 players added to the reservation.

   4. NOTE: You can add a GUEST to the reservation but then the system will charge YOU the guest fee and then you would have to collect that fee from your guest(s).

Reserving A Court (App based)

Once you have created your account on Play By Point and have paid for your Funky Bounce membership you might want to switch to using the Play By Point app on your phone. If you are using an Android phone click HERE to download the app. If you are using an iPhone click HERE.

Setting Up The App

Once the app has been installed you should:

1. Sign into your account on the app

2. Click the blue + sign in the top right corner

3. Search for Funky Bounce in the “Search facilities” textbox.

4. A thumbnail will appear below the search field

   1. Click the circle in the top right corner of the thumbnail 

5. Click the back arrow to return to your home page. You should now see the Funky Bounce launching tile.

Booking A Court

1. You can book a court by clicking on the “BOOK NOW” button

2. Accept the waiver

3. Pick the date

4. Pick the time

5. Pick the court

6. Click on Next

7. Click on Add Players

8. Use the search box to find registered Funky Bounce members

9. Click on Add to add a player to the reservation. 

10. Click on Done in the top right corner

11. Click on Next

12. Double check the summary to ensure that you are not being charged for any of the players. If you are being charged then that player has a Play By Point account but NOT a Funky Bounce Membership. See the If You Are Being Charged For A Player section below

13. Click on BOOK. You should now see a summary of your reservation. You can now chat with the players in the reservation or delete a player or 2 and replace them with other players. If you want to just delete the entire reservation you can click on the CANCEL button at the bottom of the page.

14. If you click on the back arrow you should return to your homepage and the reservation should be at the top of that page under My bookings.

If You Are Being Charged For A Player

If you notice on the booking summary page that you are being charged for a player do NOT click on the BOOK button. Rather go back to the player search page:

1. DUPLICATE PLAYER RESULT: If you search for a player and 2 identical looking results appear then that player has created 2 Playbypoint accounts OR there are 2 identically named people in the Playbypoint database (i.e. two John Smiths). Unfortunately you can’t tell which one to pick so just pick the first one and then confirm that you are not being charged when you view the summary.

2. If the summary on the next page has a $0.00 balance you picked well. If not, go back and pick the other result (you might want to click on the icon to the left of the Add button in order to make the correct player a “friend”. That way you won’t have to search for them if you want to add them to a court reservation in the future.

Joining The Waitlist

If you discover that all the courts are booked on the day and time that you were hoping for you can add your name to the Waitlist and will be notified if the current holder of the reservation cancels. To add your name to the waitlist follow these steps:

1. Clicking on the red time that you want

2. Select the hour you want the booking to end (not sure why you have to do this but you do)

3. Click on Add To Waitlist located in the top right corner of your screen
